Marc Quesnel
Marc is co-founder and president of QMR, where he leads the executive team and works directly with senior clients. Prior to starting the company, Marc was a management consultant providing strategic financial guidance in the health care field and acted as interim finance director for an area hospital. He also was account director for Robert Half International in the Ottawa region, where he built relationships with senior representatives in the public and private sector that ultimately earned him the Account Executive of the Year Award for 2001. Marc is actively involved in charities in the region and sits as a board member on the Ottawa United Way. He was also the vice chair of the governing board for the Ottawa chapter of the CGA from 2003-2006. Marc Quesnel is a Certified General Accountant.

Dan Moorcroft
Dan is co-founder and chief executive officer of QMR, where he manages the company’s operations and sets the strategic vision for the company. Dan is actively involved in the community, serving as chairman of the board for the Ottawa Chamber of Commerce in 2009. He has also sat on the Ottawa Vital Signs Advisory Committee for the Community Foundation of Ottawa, as well as serving as a director on the board of The Ottawa Partnership . Recognized as a leader in his field in the national capital region, Dan is also a member of the Government Temporary Help Services Advisory Committee (GTHSAC) managed by PWGSC to develop approaches to government professional services acquisition capabilities. Dan is a 2006 recipient of the Ottawa Business Journal’s Forty Under 40 Award and is the University of Ottawa’s School Of Management Young Achiever Award recipient for 2006. Prior to founding QMR, he worked as a strategic corporate alliance director for Nortel Networks, as well as a trade commissioner in the Department of Foreign Affairs and International Trade. Dan Moorcroft holds a master’s of business administration degree from the University of Ottawa, as well as a bachelor’s degree in social sciences, law from Carleton University.

Heather Buchan
Heather joined QMR in 2007 to assume the role of director, sales, with the mandate for business development and growth of QMR accounts. Since joining the company, she has instilled a series of processes to improve efficiency and implemented an SAP practice for the public sector. Prior to joining QMR, Heather held a series of increasingly senior positions culminating as branch manager for Ottawa/government at Robert Half International. This built on more than a decade spent in credit collections, including the rollout of a credit program for Oracle across Canada. Currently, Heather is the Vice-Presicent of the Financial Management Institute (NCR - Capital Chapter). Other achievements include attaining the prestigious President’s Club award at Robert Half in 2005 for leadership and sales in 2006.

Nancy Adams
Nancy is a senior associate with QMR, responsible for the human resources consulting practice. Her previous experience includes over 30 years in a government career at senior levels. Nancy entered the federal government in 1977 with the Solicitor General of Canada - Youth Employment Program, where she successfully managed the national job creation program within the criminal justice system. She also held numerous roles with the Treasury Board Secretariat – special advisor, governance review; director, planning and management; and senior analyst for the program branch – where her recommendations were accepted by department ministers on a variety of challenging portfolios including Indian and Northern Affairs, Fisheries and Oceans, Justice, and the Canadian Human Rights Commission. A highlight of Nancy's career was her role as director general, corporate services with the Canadian Environmental Assessment Agency, where she was responsible for the creation of the Corporate Services Sector. Nancy holds a master’s degree in public administration as well as a bachelor of arts from Carleton University.

Sarah Pike
Sarah joins QMR with over eighteen years experience selling management consulting and information technology services to both the public and private sectors. This experience is complemented by having consulted to the public sector on enterprise-wide shared services projects and a complex multi-year grants and contributions program. Prior to joining QMR, Sarah held business development roles with companies including: PricewaterhouseCoopers, EDS and Robert Half Management Resources. She is a founding member of Women in Defence & Security (WiDs), an affiliate of the Canadian Defence & Security Industry Association and currently serves as Vice-President on the Board of Directors for Harmony House Women's Shelter.

Gail Pierre-Jérôme
As director, operations, Gail is in charge of the day-to-day activities of QMR, including HR, administration and supplier relationships. She has over 18 years of consulting and staffing industry expertise, having previously worked at MaxSys Staffing, Adecco and Drake International. Gail’s career has involved a series of management roles launching companies into new geographic territories or functional areas with profit and loss responsibility. She has been recognized as an outstanding achiever throughout her career and was presented achievement awards for top performance six consecutive years from 1999 to 2004, as well as the top Atlantic Canada Human Resources Association Award for Greatest Innovation in HR in 2007/2008. Gail is community driven and much of her spare time is consumed by painting and to international not-for-profit organizations that directly benefit children.

Tracy Wilson
Tracy is a senior recruiter for QMR, challenged with matching the company’s roster of consultants and consultant-candidates Often the first QMR face a new candidate will meet; Tracy is extremely knowledgeable about interview technique, screening and procurement processes. Prior to working at QMR, she was employed by MaxSys Staffing, where she held a series of sales, recruitment and account management roles. Tracy has also worked in a sales role for multiple businesses, including a first aid and safety supplies company. She has a bachelor’s degree in science from the University of Victoria.

Michelle Muir
As Proposal Writer for QMR, Michelle is challenged with preparing responses to requests for proposals from both public and private sector clients. She holds a Master of Arts degree in History from the University of Ottawa, and has an extensive knowledge of Government of Canada procurement methodologies and contracting regimes. Prior to working with QMR, Michelle successfully managed a sales and recruitment portfolio with MaxSys Consulting. In addition to specializing in producing effective proposal responses, Michelle has written successful grant applications and proposals for non-profit organizations, including highly competitive Trillium Foundation grants. Michelle is actively involved in the Ottawa community and contributes her volunteer time to Scouts Canada, the Shenkman Arts Centre, City of Ottawa Committees and various not-for-profit organizations.

Elizabeth Sarnecka
Elizabeth joined QMR in 2005 as the Finance Administrator responsible for QMR's day-to-day financial activities. Prior to joining QMR, she worked for over 17 years at the regional accounting office for a major retail outlet. In this role she was responsible for financial and reporting issues for the outlets within the Eastern Ontario region. Elizabeth has a bachelor's degree in economics from university in Warsaw, Poland.

Karen Devenish
Karen joined QMR in the capacity of front office and sales coordinator, managing the daily calendar of activities within the office and providing contract administration support to Consultants. In addition, Karen manages Government of Canada Security Clearance applications for QMR's Consultants and is their first point of contact for questions or assistance. With over 25 years of experience in both Sales and Contract Administration with such organizations as Wang Canada, Oracle and Robert Half International, Karen provides a wide range of support to both Sales and Operations within QMR.
